My skywatch is still in Whampoa Estate. This canal leads to the open sea.
Can you spot a man fishing in the above photo? He is at a corner. Look at the below photo for a closer look at the man. I wonder if he ever catch any fish?

Please return tomorrow for interesting post on the market place in whampoa estate.

There is so many interesting spots in Singapore. It's brimming with fascinating places, considering its small size. Enjoy the weekend Alice.
Great skywatch shots. Nice blue skies. Hope he caught a fish.

Yes...I wonder too if there are any fishes there at all, happy weekend :P
This place is so beautiful
They call it fishing for a reason, as opposed to calling it catching.

I see him fishing..Would he then eat what he caught Alice?
I didn't see him in the first photo. I love the reflections off the water.
I am not sure if he caught a fish. But I read papers some people caught some real fish in these canals but the fishes have kind of muddy smell so they can only fried the fish instead of steaming them. Once I caught a fish in the open sea, it wasn't very big...lol and when I bought it home, my mother steam it for dinner. I dont even dare to eat it...lol. I wondered why?
