ION Orchard was named as one of the Orchard Road's best-dressed this Christmas. I did not take lots of photos here cause was crowded and was starting to rain.

Christmas Decoration at Ion Orchard
Christmas Decorations taken during the daytime at Ion Orchard.
Twelve christmas tree of kindness. 12 brands at ION Orchard have offered their interpretation of Christmas with a specially designed exquisite 2.4-metre-tall Christmas tree. They are Alice + Olivia, Braun Büffel, Buben & Zorweg, Cortina Watch, Crate & Barrel, Diane Von Furstenberg, Ermenegildo Zegna, Kurt Geiger, Kwanpen, Moncler, Parfums Christian Dior and TWG Tea.
The trees are central to the mall’s fund-raising activities for Christmas, where shoppers can put in bids to adopt the tree or trees of their choice by using the iPad next to each tree. Bids start at S$8,000, with the highest bidder getting adoption and naming rights for each tree of their choice plus a token of appreciation from the respective brands and ION Orchard.
Wow wonder who the lucky winner of this beautiful car. The promotion is by American Express Card.

My World Tuesday - Christmas 2011 - Christmas Lights along Orchard Road
Did not have nice photos of the christmas lightings due to the raining weather almost everyday in Singapore. I managed to take few shots of the christmas lightings along Orchard Road.
I love the giant snow globe infront of Orchard Ion but the raining weather make photography difficult cause of the raindrops and misty look on the globe. Worst was the barricade surrounding the snow globe, I guess the barricade was to protect the snow globe.
Did you spot the cute little boy in the above photo?
Despite the rain, Orchard Road was filled with many people.
Beautiful christmas lightings along Orchard Road.
Oh I love this the best among all the christmas decorations along Orchard Road. The horse carousel infront of Orchard Paragon. Yes, it actually does go round and round. I got it on video.
Short video of the horse carousel infront of Orchard Paragon.

Rain Rain go away, come back another day.....

Skywatch Friday - Christmas Tree at ION Orchard
Saw this huge and beautiful christmas tree at Ion Orchard.
Can you see me in the reflection? No, cause I hid at the side and just took the photo from the side angle...hahaha.
We could actually walked inside the tree.
Looking up above inside the tree, there are many lights decorated it.
Everyone busy taking photos of the tree.
A short video showing everyone straining their neck to look up...lol
For other sky watchers, please hop over to Skywatch blog.

Boat Prize
This luxury sport boat is so beautiful but I could only see it and wont be able to win it...lol. I dont always win any big prizes except for consolation prizes...hahaha. The most expensive prize I won was a $200+ handbag by a female magazine.
The boat is a prize organized by American Express. You can view more information from their website.

ION Orchard - Posh Toilet
A posh toilet to go with the branded mall. The toilet is so clean and posh. I am talking about the public toilets in ION Orchard. Sorry I am not eligible to use the VIP toilet. The VIP toilets are for customers who spend more than $10,000 and also for celebrities or dignitaries, i.e. very important people...lol.
These toilets are not VIP toilets but they still are very posh and clean and they are free to use, no need to spend $10,000...lol.
In the centre of the posh toilets are vanity table with beautiful mirrors where the ladies can do their make up, etc.
Oh I like this. Every mirror in front of the basin, are personal hand dryer and paper towel. So there are so many hand dryers in the toilets, each located at the bottom of the mirror. How cool is that.
And no need to queue to use the toilets as there are so many cubicles in the toilets. I wish all public toilets in Singapore are like that.

Next week I will post photos of a new mall that is associated with food and the arts. So art lovers will like to come visit my blog next week.
