My World Tuesday - Resort World Singapore - Candy

This is the candy shop outside the Universal Studio Singapore. You dont have to pay any admission tickets to walk around this area. Beside the Candy shop, there are many restaurants, eateries, pubs, etc.

This is part of the Resort World Singapore in Sentosa.

You can take photos in here but not inside the candy shop. I thought the candies looked so real and super cute.

The prices of the candies are reasonable and affordable and there are so many different types to choose from. I bought some home too.

I thought these M&M looked so super cute.

This huge Bottle of Hershey is from another shop. You could get so many different of chocolates in here too. Of course, I had to get some chocolates too, my family's favourites. :)

Universal Studio Singapore - The Lost World - Dino Soarin

It is interesting to walk around the set of The Lost World.

Amber Rock Climbing - good for visitors who love rock climbing. Scale the walls of The Lost World to explore precious stones and fossilised insects.

I cant climb anymore hahaha, so I went for the ride in these flying dinosaurs.

Children can pilot their own Pteranodon, soaring up into the sky and down into the cooling shadows. Who said this is for children...hahaha...adults enjoy them too.

Skywatch Friday - Universal Studio Singapore - The Lost World

This is the set of The Lost World in Universal Studio Singapore. I was amazed at the huge T Rex at the entrance of Jurassic Park. Good location to have your photo taken with the T Rex.

Visitors having fun playing in the fountain and taking pictures with the T Rex. They are real huge.

There is a food court at the The Lost World selling mostly Singapore's favourite local dishes, like chicken rice, bak kut teh (pork ribs soup), nasi padang (malay food), etc. It is not cheap, the chicken rice cost $7.80 per plate as compared to about $2.50 or $3.00 in a hawker centre. But there's a promotion going on at the theme park, we were given a $5 dining and $5 shopping discount voucher. So the discount vouchers helps a lot. But the promotion ends in October cause November and December is the local School Holiday so I guess they know there's a crowd coming in during these two months so there's no need for any promotion.

I had the chicken rice set that consist a plate of chicken rice, a plate of vegetables and a bowl of green bean soup for $9.80 and a cup of coke for $2.50 and I had a $5 discount voucher.

Universal Studio Singapore - The Lost World - Canopy Flyer

According to the guide booklet, one can enjoy a prehistoric bird's eye view of Jurassic Park. Oh my, I had my eyes closed, I see nothing...hahaha.

It was scary for me but luckily the ride was less than 3 mins .

My niece tricked me into taking this thrill ride, she said it is like sitting in a cable car, nothing to be afraid and I actually believed her.

This ride is only suitable for those very brave and young at heart.

You can check out the time of the show when you arrived at the theme park, please remember to collect the show schedules of all the different shows in the theme park when you arrived at the front gate turnstiles and also collect a copy of the theme park guide for the various locations of all rides, shows, F&B outlets and souvenir shops.

In this live show there will be death defying stunts, awesome explosions. You got to be there to experience all the exciting actions.

A short video showing the warming up before the live show . Crews interacting with the audience - was so funny that I got to share a small segment with you all.

Universal Studio Singapore - Ancient Egypt - Part 2

This is the Treasure Hunter ride suitable for children, elderly and people like me who dont like or too scared to try out the roller coasters.

You may have to face the cobra, crocodiles, etc before you can find any treasure in here. (They are actually fakes.) I have no idea why my cobra is upside down, no matter how many times I loaded it...lol. Could be the mummy's curse....eeekkkk.

"Drive" the desert jeep through the abandoned Egyptian excavation site.

Sky Watch Friday - Universal Studio - Ancient Egypt Part 1

This is the set of Ancient Egypt in Universal Studio Singapore. A bit frightening with all these statues. I actually almost fall when I was looking at all these statues...lol. Had a small cut on my finger and quite a lot of blood flowing from just a tiny cut in my finger - so strange. Maybe it is the mummy curse...eek!

These statues are all very huge and tall.

Inside is a thrill ride only for those very brave and daring. Of course timid me did not go for the ride. The Revenge of the Mummy is a thrill ride that plunges into total darkness in this indoor roller coaster as you face the warrior mummies on a psychological thrill ride.

You can see how huge and tall the statues are as compared with the crew people on the ground.

Nice place to have your photos taken in here.

An entertainer on stilts trying to frighten visitors.

A short video showing the entertainer posing photos with visitors.
