My Walking Trip Part 10-Signs

My walking trip is coming to an end, I did not see any monkeys but these are some of the signs that I came across.

To protect the pedestrians and the beautiful bridges, bicycles, motorbikes, rollerskates or flammable stuff are not allowed on the bridge.

This sign is in the park. So be considerate, so others can enjoy the park.

Dont go on the walking trip if it is raining or there's thunder cause there's no shelter along the walk. The only shelter there is almost near anther bridge (Alexandra Arch), which I will post tomorrow for skywatch to conclude my walking trip.

The residential area mentioned in the sign below are almost near the end of walking trip, i.e. near to the Alexandra Arch. I will post the photo of the residential area on another post.

Have you enjoyed the walking trip as much as I do, but do keep the forest clean and green. Hope the information that I posted on my walking trip is useful to those who are planning to try the Southern Ridge i.e. the shorter version-that I did.

No Fishing?

Last week, I was at Changi Village taking a stroll at changi point. Been a long time since I come here and there's lots of changes in this little village. Will post more photos of changi village in future posts. This is a lovely place where many come here for picnic, fishing, jogging, sailing, swimming, eating and etc. And I saw many wedding couples (chinese, malay, etc) taking photos further down the beach. Very interesting.

It was evening and the tide was low and best time for fishing. (Note the above photo where I circled the couple fishing.)

Take a closer look at this couple, there's a sign (circled) which reads no fishing. Seems like noone like the no fishing sign ....lol. I saw many people fishing in the river which leads to the big sea.

Some came with fishing rods, nets and two guys (circled) came with a styrofoam box. The fishes must be plentiful here. I wondered why the "No Fishing" sign is there.

Signs at East Coast Beach

Still about East Coast Park, for those who are afraid of the cable ski (in my earlier post ), there are more ways to enjoy the park.

You can walk and admired the surrounding scenery and the beautiful trees in the park.

If you do not like to walk then you can jog.

Not like walking or jogging, then go for the roller skating or roller blading.

I choose the cycling, my favourite past time at East Coast Beach. :)
All the above signs are painted on the pathways in East Coast Park. There are different paths for cyclists and pedestrians so that cyclists wont knock down pedestrians as the crowds can be heavy during weekend.
