Was at Marina Bay Sands, was surprised to see a skating ring inside MBS, the skating floor is not real ice but synthetic surface, which is as close as skating on real ice.
Cost: $7 per hour for adults and $6 per hour for children, with skates rental at $3 for the first hour. The skating rink just opened this month. I think they should also provide helmets, looked so dangerous to me. Will the kids fall on the floor and hit their heads? But what do I know about skating, I dont skate.
A short video of the skating rink from the above.

My World Tuesday -Singapore National Stadium
This is the Singapore National Staidum in Kallang, it was opened in 1973 and I remembered that I visited it the first time when I was about 14 years old when the school brought us to watch the youth festival celebration held at the Stadium. It was so long ago and when I visited it last month, it was a far cry from its hey day.
The stadium is now closed for demolition and a new stadium will be built. The whole stadium now looked so eerie and quiet.
I could not get in and take photo of the field and tracks.
These used to be the ticketing stands.
A short video showing the quiet staidum and only hubby and me were there that day. It was so quiet that I could only hear the birds chirping in the background.

My World Tuesday - Recreation
Singapore is known as a food and shopping paradise but besides shopping and eating, we do know how to relax...lol.
What kind of recreation do you like?
The kids and those who love swimming have these beautiful pools to be pampered in.
The bigger kids and adults simply love bowling. It is one of my favourite too. Hubby is good at it.

But most of all, I love to just relax in this swing in the resort.
During holidays, the whole family would rent these bungalows (behind the swing) to just relax and be away from the city.
You can view my previous post on how the bungalow looked like inside in here.

Orchard Central Shopping Mall - Rock Climbing
Besides finding art sculptures in Orchard Central Mall, there's a rock climbing wall right inside the shopping mall. It is very interesting. One need to pay to climb the rock and many procedures are required to ensure the safety of the climber.
On the left is an eager climber, whereas on the right is the instructor.

The Official Mascots of Beijing 2008 Olympics Games
These mascots for this year olympics are so cute. I come across them in Bank of China, Singapore (Raffles Place).
My friend bought a key chain of one of the mascot when she visited Beijing recently. Argh, why did she not bought the whole set of keychains of the mascots...hahaha. I need to get my other friends who are going to China to get me the rest of the keychains...lol.
To find out more of the mascots, you can read them in here.
