Moon, Venus and Jupiter?
Was looking at the sky, was wondering why the stars were so bright but not twinkling. Realised one of the star could be Venus. Did some googling and realised tonight is the chance to see Venus and Jupiter in their brightest. I am convinced the brightest star is Venus but not sure about Jupiter or is it a star.
Managed to hold my camera steadily and zoom 20 times to view Venus, wow I managed to capture it on camera.

Skywatch Friday - Cloud that looked like a whale
Night is falling and there's lots of dark clouds but one of them caught my eye. I thought it looked like a huge whale in the blue sea. Do you see same as me?

Blood Moon Eclipse viewed in Singapore on 4th April 2015
Managed to capture the Blood Moon Eclipse tonight, wow was awesome. Took the photo around 8.50 pm, did not manage to take earlier cause it was raining but soon the rain stop and the clouds clear and saw this beautiful sight.
A video on the eclipse of the moon, sorry if the moon seems to be moving but did not have tripod stand with me when I took this video, a little eerie cause of the dark clouds threatening to cover the whole moon.
Althought is not Friday over here, I would like to post this in Skywatch Friday.

Skywatch Friday - Clouds
Night was falling and suddenly a huge dark patch of clouds attracted me in the distance. I thought they looked like a happy dog running. Could not resist using my handphone to capture the beautiful cloud formation.
Did you see the same as me?

Skywatch Friday - Tightrope walkers at River Hong Bao 2015
The highlight at the Singapore River Hong Bao 2015 must be the Tightrope Walkers from China.
For the first six days of the carnival, two members of the Acrobatic Troupe of Xinjiang China, Adili Wuxor and Abulaiti-Maijun, will perform stunts on a 60m-long tightrope, at least 20m off the ground. They hold several world records for tightrope-related stunts.
- See more from Straitstimes.
Sorry if the video is shaky cause too crowded and people have been bumping into me.
Video 1 - The tightrope walker trying to balance upside down on the rope.
Video 2 - Second performer walking blindfolded.
Video 3 - Performer cycling on the unicycle high up in the sky.
Video 4 - Two performers performing at the same time, crossing over one another and dancing on the rope.

Skywatch Friday - Fire Crackers and Fireworks during Countdown on Chinese New Year's Eve 2015
Firecrackers and Fireworks during the countdown of Chinese New Year 2015 in Chinatown Singapore. Video taken by my hubby on eve of Chinese New Year, I did not want to go down to Chinatown as it was supercrowded.
It is illegal to light up firecrackers in Singapore but only on certain occasions, like Chinese New Year and the mid autumn festival, firecrackers were lighted up in Chinatown, etc by professional.

Skywatch Friday - Ng Teng Fong Hospital
At first glance, I thought the building is another condominium project but on closer look, I realised it was a hospital. It really looked very beautiful and nothing like a hospital, love how the balcony curved.
The hospital was named after a rich tycoon, the late Mr. Ng Teng Fong cause his family donated a huge amount to the hospital.
Below a video of the hospital which was linked to some shopping malls and linked to the Jurong East MRT Station.

Skywatch Friday - Happy New Year 2015
My first post for 2015, wishing everyone a very Happy New Year. May there be peace on earth and no more disasters.
Many penned their wishes for the new year on the huge balloons and the huge balloons were floated in Marina.
This year being the 50th anniversary of Singapore, the red ballons were shaped in the number 50.

Skywatch Friday
Was walking along Singapore River and impressed by the neat rows of colonial building and new buildings. But the building that caught my eye looked like the flying spaceship. It is actually Singapore Supreme Court
Another building with a ship lookalike was the Marina Bay Sands. Look as if a ship has been blown onto the top of the building.

Skywatch Friday - Night Kite Flying
Interesting to fly a night kite. This kite was operated by a remote control. The kite must be very expensive, wonder what happen if halfway the battery dies down and the kite would crash down on the ground.A short video on the night kite. For other sky watchers, please hop over to Skywatch Blog

Skywatch Friday - Marina Bay
Took photos of these tall office tower buildings at the Marina Bay Financial Centre. My sister worked in one of the tall building so I got a chance to visit inside one of the building but only on the lobby area, could not go up to her office due to security reasons.Love this stretch of the link between Marina Bay Financial Centre and Marina Bay Sands. A great place to take photo of the whole rows of financial buildings and the Singapore river.Spotted among the tall building was Clifford Pier. Clifford Pier was built between 1927 and 1933, and was named after Sir Hugh Clifford, Governor of the Straits Settlements between 1927 and 1929.Christmas trees made from recycled materials. For other sky watchers, please hop over to Skywatch Blog

Skywatch Friday - Vivo City - Cruise Ship
I love going to the roof top of Vivo City to watch the huge cruise ship. Wish one day I could travel in one.Nice that the weather was cloudy and windy that day.I zoomed and took this photo of the balcony of the room and only when I was loading them into my computer, did I realise that there was a woman in one of the balcony. Doubt she was peeking into the next room, guess she was being curious if the other room looked identical to the room she was in. Was kind of funny hahahaha.
