Woodlands Waterfront Park - Brisk Walking

Taking the thomson east coast line MRT to Woodlands North MRT Station. The train is very empty as not many people would visit this station unless is a working day.
Arrived at Woodlands North MRT Station, we could walk to Woodlands Waterfront Park from this station (think about 15 mins or so) but as it was starting to drizzle, we decided to take the bus only one bus stop away from the station.

There is only one bus number at this bus stop outside the station but do looked carefully as there are two routes with the same bus number. One is going to Yishun Interchange while the other going to Woodlands Interchange. We need take the bus 856 heading to Woodlands Interchange and alight only one bus stop away from the MRT Station.

In less than 5 mins, we arrived at Woodlands Waterfront Park
It was a great view from the park, we could easily view Malaysian buidlings from the park.

The jetty at the Woodlands Waterfront is the longest jetty in Singapore.
There is even a restaurant along the jetty.
We could   view the uncompleted Johor to Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) link. I thinks it is about 83% completed (as at August 2024). When completed, the ride from Singapore to Johor is only about 5 mins ride and no worry about traffic jam.  Looking forward to its completion.

Woodlands Housing Estate, Singapore

These are some of the many HDB flats where majority of Singaporeans stay in. Most of us own our own flats. They can range from one room, two rooms, three rooms, four rooms, five rooms and executive apartments. The rest stay in private housing, condominiums and landed properties.

The best thing about HDB flats are that they are located closed to schools, supermarkets, clinics, food centres, recreational facilities, MRT stations and bus interchanges.

Took this photo from the Woodlands MRT station, I like the view of the estate and especially those Palm Trees.
