Skywatch Friday - School of Arts

This building is so huge and still under construction.

It is the School of Arts. The School of the Arts is Singapore's specialized independent pre-tertiary arts school. It was initiated by Ministry of Information, Communication and the Arts, and caters to youths who have talent and capability in the arts. Its new campus is currently being built in the Arts and heritage district of Singapore. You can read more from source.

Orchard Central Mall - 7th Storey - Food

Seems like part of an engine room? No, these are dummies. They are part of decorations or arts found on the 7th floor of Orchard Central where the whole floor are restaurants and eateries.



These oxygen tanks are empty too, they are just for decorations.

When I was there last month, not many restaurants are open yet, just a handful.

The food prices over at Orchard Central are so much cheaper than ION Mall. Tomorrow, I will be posting the long escalators at Orchard Central, will be very interesting.

My World Tuesday-Orchard Central - Arts - Tall Girl

Today, I hop to a new mall which is not branded mall but affordable to everyone and this mall is all about food and arts. I am sure many like this mall. So does this tall girl. She is so tall that I could not capture her in my wide screen camera.

Even her boots are more than one storey tall.

There are many art sculptures around the mall. But when I was there last month, the mall was not fully opened yet, so I could only take photos of some arts only.

And they called this arts. Sorry, I do not know much about art but sometimes art can be funny. You can put a chair in an empty room and that is art too....lol. I guess arts is to make us think and imagine whatever we want about the piece of work.

As I was walking towards the Esplanade MRT station, I was attracted by some of these arts display at the esplanade.

This window displayed the laughing gas. It reminded us to slow down and stop and to remember to laugh.

Did we really forgotten to laugh? Life in Singapore is so fast. In a recent research , Singapore was found to be the world's fastest walkers.

Hahaha, even our broadband and our computers have the fastest speed in downloading other websites. I need to slow down so that my blog visitors have time to catch up....hehehe.

I apologised to my blog visitors who had trouble downloading my website, I now have adjusted my blog so that there are lesser posts on the main page so that you can load faster to view my blog. So sorry.

Please slow me down and stop and remind me to laugh...hahaha
