This is a very small park but of great importance. It is Istana Park. You can read more about it in the below photo. The world Istana is actually a malay word meaning palace. But the Istana in Singapore is infact the official residence of our President where he receives and entertain guests. So this little park is just opposite the Istana.
The centrepiece of the park must be this Festival Arch which is 26 metres tall. You can read more about the Istana Park in here.

Very pretty. And that arch IS nice.
Beautiful park!
They allow cameras in your President's garden? Lucky!!
Nah, this park is not within the President's compound(Istana). This park is not enclosed and it is opposite the Istana and anyone can just visit the park on any days. But the Istana will be open to the public only on special days.
Although the Istana is the President's Official Residential but the president dont really stay there, he has his own private home.
This is one neat park and I would so love to have a coffee or some other cold delights. Beautiful part of the world again.

Tabib, the Istana Park is open to all and is not enclosed, while the Istana which is enclosed will be open only on special days like New Year.
Thanks all for the nice comments.
A beautiful place, plain and simple.
I've been there with my friends but didn't know the name of the park until now. We were afraid to take pics as we thought it's prohibited considering it's near the President's place:) If we had known, we could've taken lots of pics. Thanks for the info though. Next time, I'll take pictures:D
