The Benjamin Sheares Bridge

The Benjamin Sheares Bridge is the longest bridge in Singapore. It is named after Dr Benjamin Henry Sheares, the 2nd president of the Republic.

It looks not only long but tall, do cargo ships have to pass under it?

Jim, that bridge is above Kallang River. Kallang River is now for recreational activities like kayaking,canoeing and dragon boating. Kallang River is inside the Singapore Island and so no cargo ships.
