Downtown East - Part 4 - Recreation

Going toward the resort/chalets from the E hub complex, we can come across several restaurants, food courts and some small shops.

It is a Saturday night and many Singaporeans do not normally cook on this day, so the entire family will come out and patronise eating outlets near their homes or in other parts of the city. I am one of them...lol.

I saw these beautiful chess sets in a window display.

They are in the form of soldiers and kings, so cute.

Mahjong set anyone?

What about chips and cards?

As there are several chalets near here, this shop sold mainly recreation items that holiday makers might need.

Downtown East - Part 3 - Recreation

The E hub building(behind the big ferris wheel) is a place for leisure and entertainment for the whole family. There's a resort beside this E hub which is very popular with the families and they would also make use of the recreation facilities in this building

Love the beautiful tunnel entrance of the bowling alley.
K box for karaoke lovers.

A big giant playground for the kids.

More fun coming in the next few posts on Downtown East.

Pink Saturday-Downtown East (Part 2)-FerrisWheel

My pink contribution for pink saturday will be the pink lights on the ferri wheels.

I did not go for the ride as it was an indoor ferris wheel, I prefer to be an outdoor one.

A short video of the ferris wheel indoor.

Train rides and horse carousel are kids' delights.

This entertainment complex is found in downtown east where most families and the young love it. I will feature on the resort next week.
For more pinky participants, please visit Beverly of How Sweet The Sound.

Skywatch Friday-Downtown East - Part 1 - Ferris Wheel

My contribution for skywatch must be this beautiful ferris wheel at Downtown East in Pasir Ris. With the background of the night sky without any moon or stars but the colourful lights of the ferris wheel make the whole place so cheerful.
A short video of the ferris wheel in motion and the noisy vehicles whizzing by me.
The building behind the ferris wheel is E hub where there's a 24 hours cinema (with many smaller cinemas within the cinema), a bowling alley, children playground, etc. Beside the ferris wheel is a multi storey car park which is fully packed with cars and no more parking places for late comers.
Looked at the illuminated lights at the multi storey car park.
For other sky watchers, please hop over to Skywatch blog.
Please return to visit for more photos of Down Town East in my next few posts.

Hands Up

Hahaha.....just having fun with taking photos of hands after looking at one of Michelle's post on hands. No prize for guessing which hands belong to me....lol
