Besides famous for its food at Changi Airport, it is also well liked by students and retirees and those who love watching planes.
The above photo is the viewing gallery of Terminal 3 of Changi Aiport. You can view the plane landing and taking off here but Terminal 2 has better view of the planes.
Last weekend, I saw a group of students (circled) studying at a corner of the viewing gallery. This is the exam period and students love coming here cause it is so spacious and quiet and nice air conditioning too. I wondered how they can studied in this manner...lol. I rather locked myself in my own bedroom and studied by myself. I guess everyone has different way of studying.
My son studied with earphones in his ears, laptop in front of him and the books/notes on the desk....lol. He said this is multi-tasking.
Some retirees has no where to go, so they come here to watch the planes. Even hubby and me came to watch the planes after our lunch at the airport. :)
To view the beautiful airport, you can see my previous posting in here.

It is a stunning airport! Terrific photos! Can't exactly see it as the best place for me to study, but then I'm not a teenager either! Whatever works! Thanks for sharing!
Enjoy!

That looks like a wonderful place to study and take in life. Great photos.
I love going to the airport watching the plane & the people at work at the airport:)
Thanks & have a nice day.
we used to enjoy the cheap food court in terminal 2, is it still there?

Ann, yes the food court is still there.
Love all the airy space and glass.
We spent the night sleeping on those chairs (second image). They were not "comfy" but would do. We arrived middle of the night and our hotel check in was after 1 pm so we slept there and had breakfast.
beautiful and most spacious airport alice. as i work in an airport i so like to see what other airports have in them and how they are laid out.
thanks for sharing.
wow, that is amazing! totally unusual thou, for me. what we have here is much smaller, and only used for flying.
I guess Singaporean loves to treat every corner as their resting shelter. So to keep away from the noisy and crowded places. And free air conditioning.
Neat shots, they look like little models.
Watching the planes; what a programme...
