Sky Watch Friday - Universal Studio - Ancient Egypt Part 1

This is the set of Ancient Egypt in Universal Studio Singapore. A bit frightening with all these statues. I actually almost fall when I was looking at all these statues...lol. Had a small cut on my finger and quite a lot of blood flowing from just a tiny cut in my finger - so strange. Maybe it is the mummy curse...eek!

These statues are all very huge and tall.

Inside is a thrill ride only for those very brave and daring. Of course timid me did not go for the ride. The Revenge of the Mummy is a thrill ride that plunges into total darkness in this indoor roller coaster as you face the warrior mummies on a psychological thrill ride.

You can see how huge and tall the statues are as compared with the crew people on the ground.

Nice place to have your photos taken in here.

Universal Studio Singapore - Sci Fi City

This is Sci Fi City. The roller coaster was not opened yet cause it did not pass the safety test. I think the chairs are not suitable and they are replacing with stronger and safer chairs.

There's the red and blue track. The blue track goes up, around and upside down with intense corkscrews and cobra roll (according to the information I found on the guide.)

While the red track zoom at speeds of 90 km/h, the seated coaster narrowly avoids collisions as it twists, turns and propels you over 14 storeys into the air. (information from the guide.)

Oh my, I am not going in any of the red or blue track....not for the faint hearted or elderly or kids.

Not easy for these entertainers, besides wearing thick costumes, some got to be on stilts.

A short video showing the fun guests have at the theme park.

This is the accelerator that whirl and twirl. Oh my, I have to close my eyes cause I can feel that I am seeing things going round and round...lol.

I did not take much photos of the rest of the Sci Fi City. There's a spray mist to cool visitors at the park.

Universal Studio Singapore - Drinking Fountain

The drinks in the theme park can be quite costly for some. There's a lot of these drinking fountains all around the theme park. So you can easily drink from them or refill your water bottles. I prefer to look for coffee to keep awake for the long hours I spend at the theme park...lol.

My World Tuesday - Universal Studio Singapore - Taking photos with Puss in Boots

This is my favourite part in the theme park. These mascots are so lovable and huggable. Many children queue to have their photos taken with Puss In Boots.

There's this little girl who really likes Puss In Boots that she asked for his autograph. So cute.

I was just sitting beside the photo taking station and I just aim my camera just to capture the action of people queueing to have their photos taken with Puss In Boots. Suddenly Puss in Boots turned to my side and just posed for me. So nice. I quickly snap a photo of him..hahaha. I thought his eyes are charming and adorable. Now you can see the kid in me...lol.

One of my favourite photo at Universal Studio Singapore.

Universal Studio Singapore - Madagascar

This is the set of Madagascar in the theme park. You will feel like dancing in here cause the music is so much fun.

The set in here is so colourful. You can have your photos taken with your own camera or by the professional photographer. It cost S$12 for the photo to be taken by the professional photographer. The photo looked so good and well taken by the professional photographer that I bought it although I thought it was quite expensive.

Everyone love taking photos with the characters of Madagascar.

They are so cute and hugggable.

A short video of King Julien's Beach Party Go Round

There's a little restaurant in here where they sold mostly thai food and some asian favourites.
There is a river boat ride at Madagascar but it is not open yet.
