My World Tuesday - Lanterns in Chinatown

Times passes fast, it is time for the mid autumn festival. This year Chinatown and nearby districts were decorated with with as many as 16,800 lanterns.

Some were handpainted by children, they really looked cute and lovely.

Nicely decorated streets,
it seems quite quiet over in Malaysia this year,
not much of decoration.

I love how Singapore makes it a point to liven up the streets during festivals! (here, it's the exact opposite! =_=)

That's an incredibly painstaking number of lanterns by the way! *_*

Hope you are having a great mid-autumn festival! :D
