My World Tuesday - Cute Dolls

Was at Orchard Road last weekend when I saw these cute dolls that looked like our political leaders.

No need to introduce this famous leader of ours, he is Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. My husband idolise him so much, bought so much books about him hahaha.

This is our current president, Dr. Tony Tan.

This doll really look exactly like our ex -president, Mr Sr Nathan.

Thanks to the creator, Chris Treewizard, of these dolls for letting us snapped photos of the dolls. You can view more information about him from his website.

Skywatch Friday - Vivo City - Cruise Ship

I love going to the roof top of Vivo City to watch the huge cruise ship. Wish one day I could travel in one.

Nice that the weather was cloudy and windy that day.

I zoomed and took this photo of the balcony of the room and only when I was loading them into my computer, did I realise that there was a woman in one of the balcony. Doubt she was peeking into the next room, guess she was being curious if the other room looked identical to the room she was in. Was kind of funny hahahaha.

Robot made from used handphones

Saw this robot display at Nokia Shop in Vivo City.

Very creative to use the old handphones to create the robot as a display in the shop.

Hong Lim Park - Lanterns made from recycled materials

There was a mini exhibition at Hong Lim Park of lanterns made from recycled Materials.

This lantern that looked like a ferris wheel won the first prize.

Kids having fun carrying lanterns.

Very creative to use paper plates, plastic spoons, fork, etc to make the lanterns that looked like a phoenix.

Hahaha a durian lantern, the durian looked real.

Lion made from hundreds of straws.

Entrance of the park was decorated with beautiful lanterns based on the Journey of the West Story.

Surprised to see this park decorated so beautifully.

Skywatch Friday - Mid Autumn Festival 2012 Celebration at Hong Lim Park

After all the fun at Singapore River, we decided to walk to Chinatown for our supper but halfway through our walk, we saw a beautiful dragon infront of Hong Lim Park.

On entering the park, we saw a mini exhibition of lanterns and some made from recycled materials.

I noticed this dragon head was cleverly made with lots of plates, bowls, tea cups, etc., very creative.

A short video on the performance at Hong Lim Park. I could not get closer to the stage, was literally standing behind some bushes hahaha, had to raise my camera to video this performance.
