My World - Resort World - Malaysia Food Street
Craving for some malaysian food? Now we dont have to travel long distance to Malaysia for malaysian food. Right in our backyard on Sentosa, Resort World had a Malaysian Food Street,a food court that houses about 17 stalls that sell authentic Malaysian hawker fare at Resorts World Sentosa.
To enter inside the food street, we need to queue to go in but the queue was a moving queue and very fast, dont have to wait very long to enter the food street but ordering the food and waiting for the food you need to be patient hahaha. You need to wait about 30 mins to one hour for your food especially so if the stall is popular.
Lots of seats right inside the food court, so no worry about not getting the seats. It was very well organised, they dont allowed too many people to enter at one time. This way, you wont have people standing around you trying to rush you to finish your food so that they can take over your seats.
Most of the 17 stalls have long queues, I guess cause it was because of the Chinese New Year Period and also the food court was newly opened.
I had this Malacca Chicken Rice Balls with chicken meat, waited more than half an hour for my food.
My sis had this Klang Bak Kut Teh (Pork Ribs Soup)
Ice Kachang for dessert
There's also a pastry shop selling egg tarts and other malaysian famous pastries.
I definitely will go back again to try other food.

Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone.
Love is in the air. Love found its way on Sentosa. Lots of floral decorations during the recent flower show with valentine's theme.
Lots of people queueing just to have a photo taken with the beautiful heart shape floral decoration.
Love this heart shaped rose decoration.

My World Tuesday Meme - Year of the Dragon - Chinese Zodiac
Spotted these dragon decorations when I was shopping at Parkway Parade Shopping Mall, one of my favourite mall. Surprised the mall is still as crowded as it first started maybe more than 20 years ago or maybe 30 years ago. The mall was not near an MRT Station and not located in central Singapore but it still attracted crowds. One reason might be it was in the east of Singapore where all the good food are located. After meals, everyone might just want to hop over to Parkway Parade.
Saw these chinese zodiac horoscope. I dont believe in them but strangely I love to read them. I posted them here just for fun reading, not to be taken seriously what were written.

Chinese New Year 2012 - Last Day of Chinese New Year
Times passes fast, today is the last day of the Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year last for 15 days.
Today being the 15th day of the Chinese New Year is also known as the chinese version of Valentine's Day. During the ancient time, ladies would dressed in their finest and visit temples and pray to find a good husband. Many activities were organised on this day.
One such activity involved the ladies throwing oranges into the river and if someone picks up the orange means the girl who threw the orange would be able to find a good husband.
Saw this beautiful dragon in Resort World Sentosa. Very smart to use lanterns to form the body of the dragon.
This being the year of the dragon, we will see baby bloom in many chinese cities, as dragon was the most like animals in the chinese zodiac. The dragon is the only one in the twelve zodiac signs that is not a real animal but it is not important as dragons are associated with emperors, and those born in the Year of Dragon are believed to be idealists, perfectionists, they are born thinking they are perfect and they are inflexible.
But Dragons are not well suited to growing old. The prospect of losing power, the helpless feeling of youthful strength ebbing away is unbearable to them. See more information from source.
To me I prefer to let nature takes its place. Children born in the year of dragon will have problem enrolling to their preferred school as dragon students exceed the number of places in popular schools.

Sentosa Flower Show 2012 - Flower Fairies
This section of the flower show is known as Flower Fairies. Seems like the fairies did a great job making all the flowers so colourful and cheerful.
Love the hibiscus flower, looked like a dancer swirling her skirt as she was dancing.
Sunflower seems so cheerful waiting for the bees.
Yellow signifies joy, hope, happiness, wealth, prestige and is a symbol of courage and friendship.
I love the purple flowers, they looked like lavenders but they are not.
Purple often used to denote royalty, power, wisdom, luxury, and evokes feelings of romance and nostalgia.
