Westgate Shopping Mall Jurong - Westgate Wonderland (playground with a huge treehouse)

It is the June School Holiday in Singapore as well as the Great Singapore Sales. Besides busy shopping for the great sale, parents can bring the kids to the Westgate Wonderland (a playground with a huge treehouse) at Westgate Mall. The playground must be the best playground found in a shopping mall in Singapore.

The playground is located on Level 4 of the mall and admission is free.

Ten metres tall treehouse that comes with climbing robes and slides.

A large watering can with an active spray nozzle, a delight with the kids.

The blue bells flowers that respond to touch with musical sounds and lights.

Swings in shape of pumpkins.

When night falls, the playground comes alive with special lighting and sound effects.

Full Moon

Tonight the moon is very huge and bright even though there's a heavy rainfall earlier in the evening. Read that the moon will turn pink on April 15th, 2014 around 3 am Eastern Standard Time (think will be 3 pm Singapore time - guess over here we wont be able to view the pink moon).

Rain at last

After an absense of rain for about two months, heavy downpour in most part of Singapore, really a welcome relief. The grasses are all turning yellow from lack of water and most ponds were drying up. If the rain do not comes, I guess we need to have water rationing.

The Singapore Flyer

At last, I visited The Singapore Flyer even though The Singapore Flyer has been operating for many years lol.

The adult ticket for The Singapore Flyer was $33 but we got a 15% discount cause we had a passion card with us. There's many other discounts promotions. You can check it out at the The Singapore Flyer's official website.

Each capsule can take 28 people but as it was not crowded that day, there's only 5 people in our capsule.

The Singapore Flyer is the World's Largest Giant Observation Wheel with a height of 165 m.

We were at the highest point of The Singapore Flyer, very great experience, could see the people clearly in the next capsule.

View of the uncompleted future Singapore Sports Hub which will be open middle of this year. It looked very impressive from the website.

We could also view the two domes at Gardens By the Bay.

Fantatic view of Marina Bay from The Singapore Flyer.

Using camera's zoom feature, I could see people at the roof top of Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
