A typical chinese medical hall in Chinatown. As a frequent customer, the staff allowed me to take photo of the shop and their products. Yayyyyy.......

Changi Airport Terminal 3 opening 9th January 2008
Today I visited the new Changi Airport terminal 3 ( it would be officially open and operating on 9th January 2008). It is so big and we walked so much and we were so tired. Most shops are not open yet. Geez, looking at it, I think the next time I travelled I would be shopping in Changi Aiport even before I boarded a plane....hahaha. All my favourite shops are in there. Now I believe why we are alway no. 1 airport in the world. Our existing Changi Aiport Terminal 1 and 2 are already very good and now with terminal 3 , we really are very spoilt with good shopping, dining and travelling facilities....lol.
You dont have to fly to be in Changi Airport. It really looked like a big shopping Mall. with 140 retail shops and F&B outlets with the most desired lifestyle brands and well loved dining establishments.
This is the main departure hall (photo shows only the main portion, it is actually very very big).
Majority of the wall of Changi Airport Terminal 3 are built with towering glass walls. One can view the interior of the transit area.

This spectacular five storey high and 300 m wide vertical garden features 25 species of climbing plants which you can view from both the Departure and Arrival Halls.
The plants are watered automatically.
Now I would end here and would post more photos when all the shops are fully open.

Oasis Building
The Oasis Building has a long history. The Oasis building in Kallang - slated to be torn down for the proposed Sports Hub.The building, home to three restaurants and two bars, is owned by Oasis Holdings. It was rumoured that it would be closed down end of this year.
Oasis building with its restaurant on stilts.
My favourite mascot, the Lion. This statue had been around for a long time.
The Oasis Restaurant-famous for its taiwanese porridge. I hope that after Oasis building is torn down, Oasis Restaurant would continue in a new place, I would definitely missed their taiwanese porridge.
No Signboard Seafood Restaurant

Merlion
The Merlion was first designed as an emblem for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in 1964 – the lion head with a fish body resting on a crest of waves quickly became Singapore’s icon to the rest of the world.
The fish tail of the Merlion symbolises the ancient city of Temasek (meaning “sea” in Javanese) by which Singapore was known before the Prince named it “Singapura” (meaning “lion” (singa) “city” (pura) in Sanskrit), and represents Singapore’s humble beginnings as a fishing village. Esplanade Singapore
Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay is one of the world's busiest arts centres, officially opened on 12 October 2002. This architectural icon with its distinctive twin shells, is sited within Singapore's civic district, just by Marina Bay at the mouth of the Singapore River.I tried to take a nice photo of esplanade too but I just dont get the correct position to take a nice photo.
