Singapore Sports Hub - The New Stadium

This is the new stadium replacing the old stadium. The 35 hectare Sports Hub cost $1.3 billion to built with a 55,000 capacity.

The retractable roof provide comfort cooling for spectators, which when completed will be the largest free spanning structure in the world.

You can read more about the design and information from wikipedia.

Thought the seats in red and white looked so beautiful, the same colour as the red and white Singapore Flag.

The whole stadium has a dome shaped, it also has running tracks just outside the gate.

You can now catch the inside view of the National Stadium via the West End at Gate 1.

WEST END OPENING HOURS:

The West End is open from 10am to 7pm on the following dates

23 August (Saturday)

24 August (Sunday)

30 August (Saturday)

31 August (Sunday)

For more information on the Sports Hub, you can view it from the Sports Hub's official website.

If you are curious on how the old National Stadium looked like, you can view my old post.
