Skywatch Friday-Star

Wow I managed to take a photo of a star. This star was so bright and big and using my inexpensive camera and zooming on it, I was surprised that the camera could take shot of the star.

This video was taken two days ago. You could see a quick flash of the lightning and the sound of thunder roaring so fiercely. It was raining so heavy. I was afraid to continue taking video cause it is not safe to be standing near the window. No chance of taking photos of lightning.

For other sky watchers, please hop over to Skywatch blog.

The star is cool, and so bright in that deep black night sky.

I think its neat taking pictures of stars.

I am still around, I am hoping to have my old site back as soon as google figures out what they are doing. I am keeping a low profile until then, well I was out of town then got sick also.

Oh boy Alice..what a catch and you did a great job on the video clip. It did sound like a very heavy storm. My cats hate thunder and go and hide in the closet....Michelle

Jim, I hope you are better now. Someone decided to steal your blog when you are not around, now I think I better backup my entire blog. Hope you get your old blog back.

It was raining cats and dogs indeed the past 2 days. You're right, shouldn't be standing too close to the window..you never know when accidents will happen.

Happy Weekend Alice :)
