Skywatch Friday - Cable Cars

One of my favourite at Harbour Front - the cable cars linking from Mount Faber to Harbour Front and to Sentosa and vice versa.

The cable cars have all been changed to the new cars. I would like to try sitting the new cable car, one of these days.

Take note of the cable car that was circled. Under the car, it read "VIP", hmmm wonder which VIP are in the car on that day.

View taken from harbour front. The buildings are all office buildings.

Like the reflection of the clouds and cable cars on the reflection of the windows.

For more information on the cable car, you can view from their official website.

My World Tuesday - Seah Imm Food Centre

During the weekend, hubby and me had lunch at Seah Imm Food Centre. Although the weather was very hot but the food centre was not hot or stuffy cause it was rather spacious and not crowded at that time when we were there.
Lots of food choices in here, not sure what to have for lunch.

Hubby had nasi briyani (a kind of rice cooked in spices) and accompanied with meat (hubby had mutton) and it costs S$4.50
I had ayam penyat (a kind of Indonesian dish with fried chicken and belachan) and it costs S$4.00. There are cheaper prices of food here, if I am not wrong the cheapest is about S$2.50

Please visit "That's my World" for other parts of the world.

BMW Motorcycle

There are so many motorcycles in the car park near Seah Imm Hawker Centre but one bike caught my attention. It had a BMW logo and I thought BMW logo only appeared in cars.

I was at Vivo City today and saw parents having fun with their kids going on the animal rides. Wish I am a kid again.

Skywatch Friday - Holland Village

This is Holland Village. It is just another estate in Singapore located in Holland Road. Holland Village is named after Holland Road, and Holland Road was named after Hugh Holland an architect during the early Singapore.

Holland Village has many eateries and restaurants surrounded by HDB Flats, Condominiums and some private houses. Weekend and night life are very attractive to locals and foreigners.

Many of the shophouses in Holland Village are very old and they were occupied by restaurants, pubs, etc.

Recently I was at Foster Restaurant in Holland Village celebrating my niece's birthday.

The restaurant served very nice and yummy western food. Hope to go back there again for their food.

My little niece and I were attracted by the small goldfishes in the little pond in the restaurant.

In a few months time, the Holland Village MRT Station will be ready and Holland Village is easily accessible by MRT by then.
