Skywatch Friday

I was visiting a friend's home when I saw this beautiful sight outside her window. So I quickly snap this shot with my camera.

At first glance, I thought the sun was behind the cloud and the rays emerging from behind the clouds but if you look at the second photo, it is sunset and the sun is further away from the cloud so the "rays" behind the clouds are just line or clouds formation that looked like the sun's rays. I thought it looked amazing.

    Alice: That is such a neat capture. The shape looks like a big bird's head. I see the beak open above the Sun and city.

    Alice,that is one AMAZING shot..looks like heaven is opening up. I love taking pictures of sky and always do that when I drive ...but dont think that's possible anymore with this new bulky toy :(
