Pink Saturday-Orchids in Singapore Botanic Garden

My contribution for pink saturday must be these beautiful orchids. I saw them in th Orchids Garden in our Singapore Botanic Gardens.
I think these orchids belong to the Laeliocattleya

Here's a short video of some of my favourite orchids. There are more photos of more orchids but these are just some of my best. I use microsoft movie maker to make this short slide of my orchids and included a favourite song of mine. It is "Times of Your Life" by Paul Anka.

    Orchids! The queen of potted flowers ~ have always wanted one. So beautiful.

    I'm going to ask for an orchid for my anniversary--I've always wanted to try having one around... must do some research on them first though.

    Hey Alice! More fond & beautiful memories. We also used to live just 10 mins walk from these gardens. We had a 6-wheeled wooden wagon that we used to piled the kids & picnic stuff & have our meals there! Occasionally, I get into that wagon too - good exercise for my husband.

    I like orchids,
    I have many at home :)
    I can still they re-bloom.
    At the moment I have to many orchids LOL

    Thanks all for the visit and comments. The orchid garden is really very beautiful.

    Tom, the movie maker is fantastic. I used it to make a video of my travel photos too and add my favourite songs to them. Very useful.

    Great display of orchids ! I visited the Botanical Garden 2 years ago and enjoyed it. Back home, took some visitors to the Orchid Garden in Kuala Lumpur and they enjoyed it too.

    Orchids always fascinate me. It's a little difficult to care for but once you mastered that the joys of their blooms more than make up for the trouble.
