Street Scene-Business Financial District

This is a street scene taken on a lazy weekend afternoon. You would see more vehicles during the morning and evening weekday rush hours. In the background are tall buildings in the Raffles Place and Business Financial District.

The news that just came in, you might like to read:

Singapore has come out tops in Asia for having the highest quality of living, according to an annual survey by consulting firm Mercer.

The study was based on a number of factors including the political and social environment, medical and health considerations, public services and transportation, and housing.

Globally, Singapore is ranked 32, after climbing two spots from last year.

In Asia, Tokyo, Yokohama, Kobe and Osaka are ranked just behind Singapore.

sometimes streets are so full with car, that is better to walk at the top of them if you want to go somewhere fast

Good shot with the city scape in the background and the curve in the roadway.

I have trouble getting shots long views of traffic, I should stand at the top of a hill on a festival day, that's when all the traffic comes in and the village is unbearable.

I did get one shot of NYC traffic from a bridge--and it's one of my favorite pics, though I've never posted it --yet.

That is a great view ... but if that is a lazy weekend afternoon I wouldn´t want to know what a busy day afternoon trafic jam looks like!

I'm not a fan of cities, or towns come to that... I try to spend as much time as I can in the countryside now.

The thing is that there do offer great pictures taking .. ;o)
