There are two moons in the sky. OMG, I must be seeing double. This happen when I was in the kitchen bending over to clear my rubbish bin and I happen to look up and saw two moons. I thought I need to see an eye specialist but when I stand near my window, I only see one moon. So I bend down again and there are the two moons again....lol
It is actually a reflection of the moon on my window. As it was very dark, the frame of my window could not be seen. The one on the right is a reflection of the moon while on the left is the real moon. :)
Thanks to Tom for hosting Sky Watch. For other sky watchers, you can go to Tom's

Wonderful optical illusion!
Neat pic, you could probably convince a few people that you saw two.

Great reflection.
Like an illution.... ;)
That must have been startling! Glad your eyes are ok. Great capture.
So you were trying to trick someone?

I always love your skywatch fridays photos, your 2 moons are really funny, and weird.
I went down to see the posts I had missed, the ducktour is very impressive, you must have had a lot of fun on that tour. Have a nice wonderful week end.
Okay, what were you drinking. :)
Neat!

Petunia's SWF
Interesting capture. I was in question before reading your post.
i've seen something like that when i was drunk...
I had a similar experience with glass reflections. I took a picture of my cat on a windowsill at night, and when I got the photo developed, a second all black cat was sitting beside him looking straight into the camera. Our all-black cat had been dead for several months, and this reflection looked exactly like him!!!! It was so spooky at first, but then we came to love the photo.
Squirrel, I am sorry about your cat. But your story is spooky and I am having goosebumps. Is your picture in your blog? Can you give me the link?
Maybe we should have a discussion post on who had seen ghost...hahaha...scary eh!
i see a nice picture
Alice--this pic was taken in the days when film was taken out to be developed--it's in an album somewhere (I am one of those people who takes so many pictures I have crates of albums) I think I know where it is and will look.

Thanks all for the nice comments.
I wouldn't mind having two moons. At least the nights would be brighter. And of course, it will give us another reason to stare at the sky at night.
A very nice capture of the moon and its reflection!
oh, how interesting! I first guessed it might be a light pole or something :)
