Two Moons

There are two moons in the sky. OMG, I must be seeing double. This happen when I was in the kitchen bending over to clear my rubbish bin and I happen to look up and saw two moons. I thought I need to see an eye specialist but when I stand near my window, I only see one moon. So I bend down again and there are the two moons again....lol

It is actually a reflection of the moon on my window. As it was very dark, the frame of my window could not be seen. The one on the right is a reflection of the moon while on the left is the real moon. :)
Thanks to Tom for hosting Sky Watch. For other sky watchers, you can go to Tom's website.

  17. I had a similar experience with glass reflections. I took a picture of my cat on a windowsill at night, and when I got the photo developed, a second all black cat was sitting beside him looking straight into the camera. Our all-black cat had been dead for several months, and this reflection looked exactly like him!!!! It was so spooky at first, but then we came to love the photo.

  18. Squirrel, I am sorry about your cat. But your story is spooky and I am having goosebumps. Is your picture in your blog? Can you give me the link?

Maybe we should have a discussion post on who had seen ghost...hahaha...scary eh!

  24. I wouldn't mind having two moons. At least the nights would be brighter. And of course, it will give us another reason to stare at the sky at night.
