It is time of the year for the mid autumn festival. Mid Autumn Festival also known as Moon Festival is celebrated by many chinese all over the world. The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese calendar.
There are many versions about the Legend of the Moon Festival. You can read my past postings on Moon Festival in here.
There are many celebrations of mid autumn all over in Singapore. I was at Singapore River where there's many lanterns along the Singapore River for the occasion.
Some of the lanterns are in the Chinese Zodiac Sign. The above is that of the Rat

Am using son's laptop...lol. Something wrong with the wireless signal of my computer, sending it to the shop for repair. So might take a while for me to go round blog visiting.
It seems you have festivals running every week. This one's very colorful. I would love to go there too and photograph the floats.

PC, you are right. There's so much happening in Singapore but I too busy and lazy to catch up with them all...lol. If you looked at the younger Singapore bloggers they can show you a better exciting Singapore. I will tried to take as many photos of the exciting events as possible.
