Ann, no I did not purchase the Ao dai. In fact, I dont shop much nowadays when I travel. My idea travel is to eat and drink and makes merry while in another country and enjoy the sights. Take more photos and that's it.
I think in our tour group, I purchased the least...lol. Bought only some keychain souvenirs and tee shirts. Did not even buy the famous viet. coffee cause we always have friends going there and gave us so much (still in our cabinet).
