Walking Trip - Part 5 -Skywatch-Scenery

Continued from yesterday's post. Still resting at the Hill Top, looking at the beautiful scenery.

You can see Sentosa Island in the background and the flats are in Telok Blangah Area, which I have posted before in here.
A short video showing a little friend joining me sky watching...lol.

For other sky watchers, please hop over to Skywatch blog.

Come back tomorrow for photos of the long awaited forest walk and its steel bridges and walking taller than the trees. Trust me, it is very interesting.

  5. Thanks for coming over Alice and your comments were so funny haha :D Seriously, I won't be eating any chickens I helped reared too....when my daughter was 2, she went back 'kampung' and woke up crying when she heard the cock crowing in the morning. Such is the life of an urbanite :) I should take the kids to Sentosa one day, I've been there ages ago. Happy weekend alice.

  9. Hi Alice,

When Hill top was first opened, I was among the first early ones.

Guess what, when I visited Singapore in July this year, I walked from Westwood where I was staying and walked to my friends at NTU. It must have been more than 2 kms.

I didn't intend to walk, I walked to Kekpoh shopping centre, and wanted to be cheap-po where there is a free NTU shuttle into the campus. So I was shutter happy taking lots of photos. By the time I got to the main road at Nanyang CC, the Pioneer MRT was ten mins away, so I trusted my "bus 11" and walked. I was drenched, went into the NEC, the NTU "hotel" and cooled down before I went to my friend's house where they had a party for me.

They didn't believe I walked so far. 9am to 11 am.

    Cheers,

    Ann
