These pink flowers are not the real thing, they are artificial.
The peacockis cute and lovely and trying to just snap the peacock is difficult cause there are so many people waiting to take photo with the peacock so I ended up taking photo of the peacock and a stranger...lol
The stage is decorated and lighted with pink lights.

Thanks for the nice comments.
I just realised that the peacock is not the centre of attraction in pink saturday, the little girl posing beside the peacock is wearing pink, just perfect for my pink contribution. :)
Pink Saturday sounds real fun! Those pink during the CNY are looking beautiful :)
What a joy! And that peacock is amazing!
Hi Alice. I have just caught up with your blog again and have looked at all your recent post about the Singapore River Hongbao 2009. All so interesting and beautiful!

Aren't those cherry blossoms? I think they're beautiful. I'm sorry that some nasty one stole your pink panther. Thanks for sharing. Happy Pink Saturday!

This festival must have been fantastic. There are so many wonderful things to see.
Happy Pink Saturday, Alice.
Very richly decorated...must cost a fortune.
Thanks all for the nice comments. Yes, it cost a fortune to decorate for the year Hongbao show. But they do earn some revenue from rentals of stalls for a food fair and it is also part of for tourism purposes. You can view my food fair photos in my food blog. http://alicefoodphoto.blogspot.com/2009/02/food-fair-at-singapore-river-hongbao_07.html
