People's Park Complex

People's Park Complex is a high-rise commercial and residential building on Eu Tong Sen Street in Outram, within the Chinatown of Singapore. I remembered mom used to bring me to shop here when I was a child as it was one of the few pioneer shopping mall back then.
The above photo showed the normal crowd on a Sunday. It is a best place to look for travel agencies as there are many housed under this complex. From the photo, you could see SA Tours, ASA Tours and Commonwealth Travel and there are more smaller travel agencies in the next People's Park Centre.
For more information on People's Park Complex you could view it here.

  9. Hi Alice! It looks a bit crowded, but since you're heading to a travel agency, everything is fine... ;)
Orchard, on the contrary, looks quite empty...
Meanwhile, Blogtrotter has a Rhapsody in Blue post!! Not many words, just the rhapsody! Enjoy!

  11. Goodness how things have changed. I still remember Chinatown in the 1950's and every decade since then.
I am a bit sorry for all the changes. Chinatown especially has lost it's character.
Look forward to seeing more next week.

  13. Very interesting! Interesting also - that the last shot could have been taken the same somewhere in Europe, the US, or in any other larger city!
