This little guy decided to make my home his home...lol. BTW anyone know what this is. I am not familar with the names of insects. It looked like a tiny butterfly.
It looks beautiful and pretty big in the picture. I don't know its name, hope it flew away because his home is mother Nature, he will feel better outside. Have a nice day.
It was rather small and about size of our ten cents coin. I should have put the coin beside it to show you the size. It looked big because I zoom on it.
I try to make it fly away by blowing on it but it refuses to move...lol.
So I guided it on a piece of paper and placed it near the window and finally it flew away.

It's not a butterfly, but rather a little moth native to S'pore called Amata huebneri (synonym: Syntomis huebneri (Day-flying Moth, Wasp Moth). Photo1, Photo2
It is one of the few moths that come out in the daytime, & as you have observed, it is not as jittery as butterflies tend to be. Another moth clue: its wings are spread when it is in the resting position. Butterflies fold up their wings when they assume the resting position.
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I will try to return blog visiting whenever I could and will also try to reply your questions about my posts.
