Skywatch-The Singapore Flyer

This is not the wheels of a bicycle. If you looked closely at the top right corner, you could see the capsule of The Singapore Flyer. Yes, it is part of The Singapore Flyer, those metal frames that hold all those tiny capsules. (Tiny from the ground view). The capsules are air conditioned.

You could learn more about the Singapore Flyer from my previous post.

Closer look at the capsules.

Thanks to Tom for hosting Sky Watch. For other sky watchers, you can go to Tom's website.

  16. the top shot does look like a bike wheel. I can only guess how strong and thick those cables must be though.

  18. Hi Squirrel, There are 28 capsules in the Singapore Flyer. Each capsule can take up to 28 people. Each rotation is 30 minutes. I will go up in one on one fine day and will share the photos when I am up there. :)
