My World Tuesday- Gardens By The Bay

This is the latest attraction in Singapore. Gardens By The Bay almost 101 hectares is a very expensive garden, costs almost S$1 billion dollars to built. The aim is to raise the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city.

The garden consists of three gardens, Bay South, Bay East and Bay Central. You can read more about the three gardens from wikipedia or the official website of Gardens By The Bay.

The main attractions in the Garden must be the two domes (forest cloud and flower dome)with high admission fees of $28 for tourist and $20 for locals and the admission fees of $5 for walking on the skywalk bridge among the supertrees. I will talk about and post photos of the domes in coming posts. For more information on the different admission fees, please refer to the official website of Gardens By The Bay Admission Fees.

Climbing up or take the lift up to the bridge linking the supertrees need to pay S$5 to view the scenery from the top. Very nice experience, no queues in the afternoon as there's no shelter at the bridge from the sun but I was lucky that day was a cloudy day so I had a fun time walking along the bridge and admiring the beauty of the scenery around it. Even though, I have a fear of heights, I just want to experience the view from up there.

From the bridge, we could view nearby Marina Bay Sands Hotel, nice to take photos from up there.

From the top of the bridge, I spotted three graduates of a local university trying to take photos of themselves at the garden.

My World Tuesday - Chinatown-Shopping at Kreta Ayer Market

Been a long time since I last visited Chinatown, Singapore. I decided to look around the shops in Kreta Ayer. Was surprised that shopping in here is really cheap, no need to bargain hard.

I got a pair of black walking shoes for only S$10, wow really so worth it. It was comfortable, I would go back there again and shop but gotta leave hubby at home hahaha cause he had no patience and keep hurried me with my shopping. I got a few other stuffs too.

My World Tuesday - Changi City Point

Last weekend, hubby and me decided to visit Changi City Point which is located in the central of Changi Business Park. It is just opposite the Expo MRT Station one station away from Changi Airport MRT Station.

It is worth shopping in here, many shops offering huge discounts and dining and shopping are very affordable here.

Some travellers make a last minute stop at the mall before heading to the airport. Saw many shoppers lugging their suitcases along.

The Expo MRT Station looked like a huge spaceship. Could not manage to capture the whole station in my camera.

How to go to Little Guilin, Singapore

It is so easy to visit Little Guilin although it is a distance from the city. Take the MRT Train and alight at Bukit Gombak MRT Station and exit from B and turn left from the road to walk all the way to the park.

I decided to walk under the mrt tracks for some shades so I turn left on the second road from the MRT Station and walked under the corridor of Block 523. It was a short walk for me, think was less than 10 minutes walk from the MRT Station.

A short video of the Little Gulin Park.
