This year Christmas Decoration seems to be very beautiful across the island. It's partly due to Singapore turning 50 next year with celebration starting 1st January 2015. The christmas theme for Changi Airport is "It's a Mickey Mouse and Friends Christmas Wonderland in Changi Airport!"The decoration were so beautiful and look so magical. There's even snowfall during show time. Show times on weekdays are hourly from 5pm to 9pm, while show times on weekends, public holidays and eve of public holidays are every other hour from 1pm to 5pm, and then hourly from 6pm to 9pm. I took these photos during a weekday to avoid the weekend crowd.

Found a nice place in Chinatown, most would only visit Smith Street and Pagoda Street in Chinatown. This is China Square Central, diagonally opposite Pagoda Street. I was there on one Saturday noon, am surprised to find it like a ghost town, so quiet and empty. It was only popular during weekday lunch time with the office people cause it was near the financial district. It was a waste that this place was ignored. There's many nice restaurants, histories and the murals on the walls are cute and make good photography background. This place is also known as Samsui Village cause the Samsui women made their home in this area. You can read the history of them from infopedia. Actually the quiet ambience made a good place to get together with friends and families at one of the many restaurants. Lots of statues at China Square Centre telling the early history of Singapore. I waste no time in taking photos of the many murals in this area. As I walked along, I saw this little door leading to some place, I thought it was a temple but there's a hotel inside here. Map of how to go to China Square Central, the nearest MRT Station must be Chinatown MRT Station and Telok Ayer MRT Station. Source of Map from the free Singapore Map found in most hotels, tourism board, airport, etc.

My best friend and I had a blast of time at Trick Eye Museum at Resort World Sentosa. Although we are in our fifites but we really are very young at heart hahaha. The ticket was S$25 for adult, S$20 for senior 60 and above and children between 4 to 12. It was important to know which angle to stand to get the best of your photos. Most of the time, there's marking on the floor to indicate where to stand to capture the best moment of the trick. If unsure of how to pose to get the trick, there's always the poster(like the top and below photo) at the side of each exhibit to teach you the correct pose. Not necessary to rotate our camera, we can always rotate via the computer when we load the photo to get the trick position. Most important not to have photo bombers, like the little girls at the side spoiling the whole photo of their friend in the middle. Difficult to get this pose, we are too old to bend backwards on the statue, our back really aching hahaha. So did not attempt this trick. Love this pose, all we had to do is to rotate our photo. Photo teaching us how to pose as if we were climbing the side of the wall. Pop over to the official website of Trick Eye Museum for more information.
